Gang,

They didn’t want me to say goodbye. I asked, actually – and they said “no“.

Tyler brought me the missile.

But I guess what I meant was, “Can I say ‘thanks?’” I should have been clearer.

Had I been given the opportunity, I would have thanked each one of you for the lasting impact you’ve had on me, and my family. I would have said thank you for humoring me, thank you for laughing at the tired jokes, and thank you for riding at dawn, regardless of what the night brought. We’ve been through a lot over the past 15 years. Your families are part of my family’s story. Going the ‘Extra Mile’ is in our blood.

I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity that Jim Mooney gave me. I was a 25-year old punk, hot off the heels of a tech startup failure, only looking for a place to chill for a few months. But after working at Enginuity, I knew I would never be able to see the world the same; we were solving real problems… having real fun. I relocated my family to be closer to the action, and we made a name for ourselves as the most feared and respected pirate ship on the Chesapeake Watershed.

A big thank you to Jim Elash (who sent a cleaning service to our house in 2019 after our twins were born ‘to give Jenny a break’) for living the Fundamentals in plain sight, and for speaking truth to power since 1918.

I’m eternally grateful for Enginuity (and Ainsworth’s) support for my involvement in the MSCA, the Harrisburg Chamber & CREDC, Leadership Harrisburg Area, The Conference for Women, and other organizations that advocate for the interests of union mechanical contracting, Servant Leadership, and the Greater Harrisburg Area. You’ll be seeing me around, on those fronts.

I will miss all of you. The only reason I made this dippy page is they didn’t let me say goodbye and I want to be able to keep in touch. Protect Elash and Maribeth (who was by our side since mid-2020) at all costs. Release the Epstein files.

Warmest Regards,
